OUR MISSION

For every backpack sold, Adventurist Backpack Co. provides 25 meals
to families in need across the U.S.

It all started with a backpacking trip around the world.
When wife/husband co-founders Matilda and Kelly were traveling throughout 2017, they witnessed the hardships of families that were struggling with hunger. Wanting to help, they prepared meals each morning and filled up their backpacks, handing the meals out to anyone in need throughout the day. After returning home to the U.S. and knowing there are still so many families in our own communities and cities, Adventurist Backpack Co. was started.

Adventurist Backpack Co. believes a little kindness can go a long way. Our team is committed to help feed hungry families in order to fill not only their stomachs, but to fuel their ability to progress, learn, and create. To give them every opportunity to succeed — which in turn will strengthen our communities and our country.

41 million Americans struggle with hunger each year, including 13 million children. Hunger can affect people from all walks of life, and many Americans are one job loss or medical crisis away from food insecurity for themselves and their families.

We work alongside the leading, national hunger non-profit Feeding America, to help provide meals to families across the U.S. This includes donations to over 200 food banks nationwide (such as Food Bank of the Rockies, Utah Food Bank, Los Angeles Regional Food Bank, and many more), helping to reduce the number of families affected by malnutrition and starvation.

You can contact us at hello@adventuristbackpacks.com if you are interested in more information about the specifics of the food donation process, or have any further questions!

Adventurist Backpack Co. is part of Feeding America's Enterprise Society. Donations from Adventurist Backpack Co. to Feeding America will be matched by Tony Robbins through the 100 Million Meal Challenge providing twice the impact.  Every $1 donated to Feeding America helps secure and distribute at least 10 meals to people facing hunger through the Feeding America network of food banks.
